Ovid Medline export to Endnote bug

There is an identified bug which causes references exported from Ovid Medline to Endnote to be added to the Endnote library without the Journal title and url.

Workaround
  • In Ovid Medline, choose the references to be added to your Endnote library and click export.

  • Export

  • Download (in Chrome) or Save (in IE) the Ovid export file.

  • Download

    Save

  • Go to Endnote, click on the File menu, choose Import and then File.

  • FileImport

  • Choose your downloaded/saved Ovid file as the Import File and select MEDLINE (OvidSP) as the Import Option.

  • Import

The complete reference should then be added to your EndNote library.

If you have any problems please contact the Library.
