About the searches

The searches all run in PubMed.  Follow the Get it @ E/SMHS button to reach full text.  Use the slider bar to the left of the results screen in PubMed to filter results by year or any of the other filter options.

References found from the searches are sorted from newest to oldest and display in abstract view.  Viewing options may be changed to 'best match' or summary format.

Each topic is searched from a variety of angles. 

  • Base search - a targeted search for references about the topic in a hospital/health service setting, published in English during the last 5 years
  • Broad search with Australia filter 
  • Broad search with reviews filter
  • Broad search - an extensive set of references on the general topic, not limited by language, setting or date.
