Value Based Health Care

Valued based health care is defined by Muir Gray as "Reducing unwarranted variation to maximise the value of healthcare for populations".

There are many programs with this or similar objectives that are expressed with a variety of terms:  Choosing Wisely;  Zero Harm;  Antibiotic Stewardship;  RightCare;  High Value Care;  Low Value Care;  High Reliability Health Care;  Value Based Outcomes;  Safety Thermometer;  Wiser Healthcare;  Evolve;  Disinvestment etc.
