Apps and Mobile Options to View Library Resources

All  subscribed resources can be viewed from mobile devices as most will dynamically resize.

Some resources display better with mobile specific apps.  Most require wifi or a data plan for access.  Occasional re-authentication will be required from a Library link.

Therapeutic Guidelines and Micromedex download to your device (no wifi or data connection is needed when using them).  Updates will flow through when connected to a network and occasional re-authentication is required from a Library link.

Create an account from the Library link here
Download the app and use the credentials you have set up to log in.

To maintain access you must re-verify your organisational affiliation every 90 days. 

The AusDI website is optimised for mobile devices.
Follow the instructions to register for a personal account and access the mobile optimised website with the login credentials you have created.
Create an account from the Library link.  
Download the app and use the credentials you have set up to login to the app.

BrowZine is an app that allows you to access and browse e-journals from different publishers in one simple interface. Use BrowZine to track new issues as they are published.
BrowZine's LibKey Chrome browser extension embeds an icon into publisher webpages, that connects you seamlessly to full text.

Register and create an account from the Library link (top right hand of the screen).  
Download the app and use the credentials you have set up to login to the app. DO NOT select 'Organizational Login'.

  1. Delete any existing Therapeutic Guidelines app from your device.
  2. Download the Therapeutic Guidelines app
  3. Authenticate using the Access Key method

PLEASE NOTE: There are currently 2 versions of Therapeutic Guidelines in Google Play Store. DO NOT USE THERAPEUTIC GUIDELINES OLD.

i2i app allows you to download subscribed Australian and international standards from Intertek Inform (formerly SAIGlobal).
Use the same username and password as you would on your desktop version.
To download and install the app, go to Apple app store or Google play store then search for i2i.

Micromedex

Micromedex has five modules with apps (Drug Reference, Drug Interactions, IV Compatibility, NeoFax, Pediatrics).

Information how to download the apps is available from within Micromedex (under the Resources link) or click here.

Note: The new Micromedex app only includes Drug Reference and Drug Interactions currently. 

Register (top right of the screen) to get login details for the app. To maintain access you must re-verify your organisational affiliation every 90 days.  More on this from UpToDate
