Embarking on research and not sure where to start? 

This guide provides a curated set of resources to assist you on you research journey.

In addition, librarians are available to:

  • undertake literature searches to support your research, including searching for systematic reviews and other evidence syntheses
  • assist you to develop a search strategy to support your research
  • provide training in how to undertake literature searches yourself and how to use EndNote
  • set up subject alerts to provide new publications pertaining to your research topic

ORCID

Before beginning your research journey, it is recommended that you register for an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID). This ID is a free, unique, persistent identifier that can be used to connect a researcher with their publications. It is not institutional specific, and can be used throughout your research career.
