Use the EndNote Group functions to organise your references rather than create multiple libraries. Think of your library like your Spotify or Netflix account. You only have the one account, and you organise your music playlists or favourite movies into categories within them.

Note: If you delete a Group the references are not deleted, only the Group.
The creation of a Smart Group is based on a search strategy and will allow new or existing references with predetermined characteristics (such as the same author, year or key word) to automatically appear in that particular smart group. This can make both filing and finding certain references very quick and easy, as any reference meeting the criteria will immediately appear in the appropriate smart group.

Note: If you delete a group set, all of the groups within that set will also be deleted. The references will not be deleted, they will remain in your library under All References.
Tags are customisable labels that help you organize your references.
You can add tags to references and customise the colour and name of the tags.
